First-Year Welcome Experience

Congratulations on Committing to WPI! 

Join us for a one-day immersive event where you'll embark on an exciting journey at WPI. Get ready to discover the incredible opportunities awaiting you and meet the dedicated team ready to support your success. 

During the First-Year Welcome Experience, Students will: 

• Connect with your Academic Support Advisor to explore the WPI curriculum and choose courses for the fall semester. 
• Engage with a Summer Transition Assistant who will provide guidance and support throughout the summer, fostering connections and preparing you for campus life. 

• Build connections with fellow Class of 2028 peers, forging friendships that will enhance your WPI experience. 

  Parents and Families Will:  

• Connect with various campus resources that will be there to support your student throughout their time at WPI.  
• Gain insights into the WPI curriculum, allowing you to understand and support your student’s academic journey.  

For students and families who are unable to join us for an in-person experience, we will be offering two virtual sessions to connect and learn more.
